Calling Back Our Womb is a new sister network of Xicana Chronicles that produces a podcast series that centers indigenous experiences and knowledge.
Via Calling Back Our Womb:
Episode 2 of CBOW is dedicated to the Central American women inside the immigrant prisons across the U.S. and features a story about the forced abortions pregnant women are being subjected to inside these prisons.
We will hear a moving testimony from Ana about her experience and the experiences of pregnant women locked inside these facilities.
We want to warn listeners that today’s episode is for mature audiences only as it contains graphic descriptions of violence and systemic government practices that may be difficult for some to process.
Original video by Town Hall Summer and Global Exchange.
Produced by Xica Media | Music for this episode is by Yetlanezi and Yacatsol.
